Georgia vs. Florida HS Showcase Streaming Live on HBCU League Pass Plus

Two elite football states compete in showcase games streamed live to college coaches

HAINES CITY, FL — JANUARY 11, 2023 — The 5th Annual Georgia vs. Florida HS Showcase will feature standout high school football prospects competing for interstate bragging rights and scholarship opportunities. The two-game event includes a Senior Bowl on Sunday, January 15 and an Underclassmen Game on Sunday, January 22. Both games will be played at the Feltrim Sports Complex in Haines City, FL. Fans and college coaches that are unable to attend can tune in via live stream on SUVtv and HBCU League Pass Plus.

This Sunday’s Georgia vs. Florida HS Showcase Senior Bowl will kickoff at 12pm ET.

In only 5 years, the showcase has been tabbed as one of the top All Star events in the country. We receive a massive amount of inquiries from college coaches about the rosters, and already have a star studded alumni list, says Orey Ferrell GA vs. FL Showcase Director. “The ability to have the event showcased on SUVtv and HBCU League Pass Plus will expand our platform even further and offer the players more exposure.”

While the Georgia vs. Florida HS Showcase includes all star players that have already committed to college programs - the event has been a consistent platform for unsigned players to earn opportunities to play football at the next level. Between the Senior Bowl and the Underclassmen Game, the event offers an impactful pipeline for players and college coaches alike.

‘It is an honor for Urban Edge Network  to broadcast this amazing event on our OTT platforms.  This event celebrates the best of Florida and Georgia high school football talent and  SUVtv is the premier leader in presenting the best quality live streaming showcases and the best High School competitions in this country’, Says Tood F. Robert Coleman

6’3″ 180

FS/ WR
Minor HS (Birmingham, AL)

Coleman is tall receiver with great hands. Has great speed, jumping ability, & body control that makes him serious offensive threat. However, Coleman is known more for his defensive skills at safety. Covers well and has the ability to play press corner.

George Lira

OLB/ DE
West Hall HS (Gainesville, GA)

Lira is dominant force off the edge and can play in both defenses. Has the power to shed would be blockers and the ability to shutdown his side of the field. All State player who won Defensive Player of the Year in his region.

Orey Ferrell IV

5’9” 190
DB/ RB
Discovery HS (Lawrenceville, GA)
Ferrell is a ball hawk in the secondary & a big time hitter who makes his presence known to opposing receivers. Also, a powerful runner on the offensive side of the ball who has break away speed once he gets to the 2nd level. Earned Team MVP, Conference POY, along with Max Preps Georgia Play of the Week 3X this year.

Phillip Jones JR
5’9″ 190
RB
Nacogdoches HS (TX)
Jones is a powerful runner who has a great burst and the ability gain yards after 1st contact. Has great vision, durability, and the ability to keep the chains moving or take it to the house.

Jaylen Kelley
6’4″ 175
QB
Harford Tech (Joppa, MD)

Kelley is dual threat QB who can consistently make accurate throws. Has great arm strength to throw the deep ball or squeeze a fast ball in to a tight spot. Kelley also has the ability to hurt defenses with his feet. Has the ability to run the zone very well in a spread offense or play In a pro style offense. Earned All County Honors.

Nikierce James
6’1″ 255
DT
Pine Forest HS (Pensacola, FL)
James is a powerful defensive tackle who seems to work well in a 3 technique. Has great hands and is a very good run stopper.

Tyrese Osbourne
5’8″ 180
RB/ LB
West Hall HS (GA)
Osbourne is an All Region & Area RB, but showed to be a mighty force at MLB/ ILB. Has a great knack for the ball & quick burst which allows him to cause havoc if blitzing.

Class of 2018

Jamison Harrison
5’9″ 200
RB/ DB
Blue Ridge Academy (Virginia)
Even though he did earn All State Honors, Harrison is one of the most underrated players in his class.  Hits top speed immediately like a Lamborghini, has great vision, can make defenders miss, and also possesses the power to run through them.

Emanuel Cater
6’2″ 250
DT
Hiram, HS (Georgia)

Cater has a motor that doesn’t stop along with the speed & athleticism to match. Won the Fastest Lineman Challenge by a landslide and his speed translated onto the field as he was able to chase down the opposing RBs & apply pressure on the QB all game long. All Region Honorable Mention, and has another year left.

Jalen Philpot
6’0″ 170
RB/ WR/ DB
Seaquam Seahawks (Vancouver, Canada)

Philpot was an unstoppable force & along with his brother (Tyson) dominating the game. Has great speed and a knack for making big plays.

Tyson Philpot
5’10” 170
WR/ RB/ DB
Seaquam Seahawks (Vancouver, Canada)
Tyson was the counterpart to Canada’s 1-2 punch. Both he and his brother found way to make plays and keep drives alive. Tyson is a very good route runner and finds a way to get open to expose opposing defenses.

Class of 2020

Kai Felder-Ferrell
5’10” 160
DB/ WR
Discovery HS (Lawrenceville, GA)
Kai continues to show why he is considered one of the top DBs for the C/O 2020. Consistently provides lock down coverage and is supportive in run support. Kai also shows to be a deep threat in the passing game, but has a great ability to make defenders miss which allows him to be valuable in the quick pass game.

Kellen Brave De Peralta

5’9″ 150
K/ P
Norcross HS (Georgia)

It’s rare that you come across a young kicker who is so impactful during a game, but Kellen proved to be just that. He has great range as a kicker, & can put the ball in the endzone on kickoffs. However, one of the strongest points our scouts saw was his ability to pinpoint where he punted the ball, along with the hang time he gave his team to cover.

Jalen Carter
5’11” 190
LB
Dublin HS (Georgia)
Carter is a very physical LB who also seems to take a very cerebral approach to the game. This mix of intelligence and physicality within in his game allows him to read keys quickly & react at top speed.
